The trails are manicured and well-kept, with a variety of terrain for all levels. My favorite part of the trail is the humbling ascent as you climb up steep terrain with amazing views at the top. The Big Cave at Palo Duro Canyon State Park

The Big Cave mountain bike trail is incredibly unique, with its rocky and steep terrain providing challenging terrain that few trails offer. The trail has plenty of switchbacks and sharp turns throughout to test your riding skills - it's definitely not the average flat mountain biking track! Plus, the views are epic, making it a truly enjoyable ride.

This is definitely one of the best mountain bike trails in Amarillo! It's especially great for experienced riders who are looking for a challenge; however, beginners can still do it with a bit of practice beforehand.

Denton Mountain Bike Trail

Denton Mountain Bike Trail

The trail is just over 5 miles of moderate terrain, winding through some beautiful scenery. The trails are well-marked and the surrounding landscape is quintessential Texas Hill Country - rolling hills, natural rock formations, wildlife and cacti along the way. The mix of technical terrain and more flowing sections makes for a great ride that can accommodate all levels of riders.

I especially love the incredible views from the highest point of the trail. On a clear day you can see for miles! But this isn't just raw nature; There are picnic areas along the trail with fire pits so riders can take a break and take it all in.

Overall, Denton Mountain Bike Trail is one of the best mountain bike trails in Amarillo, combining beautiful surroundings with challenging terrain and plenty of things to explore throughout your ride. Highly recommended!
